the workshop articulates itself around the dramaturgical construction and execution of the solo performance, with here a particular accent put on the body's limits. complete availability is expected practical information this workshop is oriented towards professionals. it is open as of 8/10 people. from the 20th to the 26th of september 2010 /9H>18H price of the workshop: 100 CHF the work shop will be in the Grütli Teatre in Geneva. on the 26 of september will take place a public presentation of the performances (as a work in progress…) please send a CV and a letter of motivation to stage@grutli.ch with the title " stage sur la construction d'un solo" before the 15th of SPTEMBER. A selection will then be made. " i consider the solo as a discipline of its own, with its own rules, its own restrains, and especially a complex freedom … constant fight with oneself. the solo isn't a external representation of a character but truly the engagement and the staging of ones own life … there are undoubtedly many ways to approach the solo work , here i share with you my own track.
